At Troop 45 we promote a culture of service, following the Scout Oath to do our best to help other people at all times. Below are some current service project opportunities. If you have another service project in mind please contact Mr. Baker for approval.
Grooms Church Cemetery Mowing
Shen UMC maintains the grounds of the historic Grooms Church Cemetery in Clifton Park. From late spring to early fall we regularly mow and clean up the cemetery as service to our charter organization. Watch for e-mail announcements from Mr. Woodry to know the dates and how to sign up. We also need adult help to supervise mowings. Please check this page to sign up.
Eagle Project Support
There will be opportunities to work on community-benefit projects as our Eagle Scout candidates work on their service projects. Keep an eye out for workday announcements via e-mail and on the website Events page.
